The days are longer...
And we're headed for summer! It's the dry spring fire season here, with one far-too-local fire already under way. My riding time is easing earlier in the morning to beat the heat, and agility training waits till sunset. We're starting the month with big news--Connery Beagle is currently ranked #8, nationally, among AKC agility beagles! *dance of glee* It won't last--we haven't trialed enough in AKC this spring--but for the moment it's great fun. And in early June we've got a trial in the gorgeous White Mountains...looking forward to that! Belle is also running--always watching that back of hers--and Jean-Luc is coming out of retirement for a Guest Handler for a single run.
Nose for Trouble is still going strong, including the large print version. Online ordering or special ordering through your local Barnes & Noble are your best bets for this one, as Five Star gears its distribution toward libraries. I love this book, and still clutch the finished product closely to my breast on a regular basis.
Last month, Survival Instinct hit the shelves. It's gotten some great reviews. It seems like (Beyond the Rules) just came out, but it's been since September. (You can read an excerpt if you'd like.) Comeback, my second Athena Academy book, has a new cover! Hidden Steel is on my editor's desk, and I'm about to start Making the Rules. Also on the virtual shelves these days, you can find the free short story "Heavy Metal Honey" online at eHarlequin.com.
(For information on any of the books mentioned above, try the In the Works or On the Shelves pages.)
