The Flagstaff Kennel Club has been part of the northern Arizona community
since the early 1970s. The club is dedicated to the advancement of purebred dogs, sportsman-like competition at dog shows and obedience trials, responsible pet ownership, and the philosophy that all animals should be treated humanely and with dignity. On top of that we do our best to have fun!
In addition to the all-breed show in June and the Match in the spring, the
FKC teams up with the Flagstaff Pet Assistance League(FlagPAL) to inform the general public about many animal care issues and also about the traits of the individual breeds. As many breeds as possible come to both the Pet Fair in the Mall and the County Fair near Labor Day. Talk about a crowd-pleaser! It's a great opportunity to share our knowledge with the public. We also distribute AKC educational publications at these events under our AKC mandate to promote pure bred dogs.
Please feel free to wander around and see what we're all about!
