The Malice Domestic conference in Arlington, Va, was my first mystery conference ever and a thoroughly wonderful experience. It wasn't as overwhelming as I'd feared it would be, and I have all my friends in the Sisters in Crime Guppies Chapter to thank for that. Everywhere I looked, I saw "I'm a Guppy" badges and smiling faces.
